Radhanath Swami – Enjoy Eternal Peace
There is temporary mental peace of material world and there is the eternal peace of the spiritual world. That is what God wants every one of His children to enjoy. It comes to the extent that we surrender to Him. The illusion in the world is to try to keep as much as we can for ourselves, and to make God our order supplier. We go to the temple or church or mosque to beg God to give us all that we need in our lives. Sometimes I need money, sometimes I need good health, sometimes I need progress in my business endeavors, sometimes I need nice prestige, sometimes I want a new house, new car, or I want my children to have nice husbands and wives. We simply demand, ‘God give me this, get me that.’ There is no love in that relationship.
God may give us but even if we receive all the things we asked for, there would be no true satisfaction in our life because material pleasures have a beginning and an end. They only leave us with the longing for more. The real goal of life is loving service to God, and that service must be completely unmotivated and uninterrupted to satisfy our souls completely.

Radhanath Swami is giving a very nice peace formula.Real peace and happiness is not in getting what we want but in doing what God wants.God has everything.Only thing he wants from us is love.

Very true. Often I approach God for so many material things. Thank you Radhanth Swami for enlightening me that these are not ultimate goal. The real goal is loving service to God, and that service must be unmotivated and uninterrupted to satisfy our souls completely.

Everybody is looking for peace, but in all the wrong places. True and eternal peace can only be found through service at the lotus feet of Lord Krishna and his devotees.

Radhanath Swami is emphasizing that we must not do business with the Supreme Lord i.e. i am worshipping you so you now become my order supplier. Radhanath Swami is emphasizing it is so important to develop the true love…

Radhanath Swami brings out avery important point here. That Vaishnavism is far beyond traditional Hinduism that directs its follower towards worshipping God(s) and Goddesses for attaining the 4 purusharthas – Artha, Kama, Dharama and Moksha. Vaishnavism urges its follower to attain the fifth and the ultimate purushartha. The purushartha shiromani – love of God, and epmhatically establishes that only that and that only can truly satisfy one self

Very wonderful & enlightening article from Radhanath Swami Maharaj.
I liked below lines in particular:
God may give you, but even if you receive all the things, you asked for, there would be no true satisfaction your life, because material pleasures have a beginning and an end.

What a perfect way to put forward the truth! It is in our experience to understand how nothing material can truly satisfy us although it may give us some temporary feeling of pleasure! Else why would all the ads be screaming ” Yeh Dil Maange More!”? Wheras the devotee who engages cent percent in the service of the lord is completely satisfied from within and never hankers for the fleeting objects of this world. Thank you Radhanath Maharaj for revealing this truth in such a simple yet profound way!

As nicely explained by Radhanath Swami, anything of ths material world will not give permanant satisfaction. The soul which is the actual owner of the body needs love of God which alone brings in complete peace and lasting satisfaction. We are eternally indebited to Radhanath Swami for giving this complicated knowledge in simple and lucid terms.

In this modern age, we all go for temporary peace of material world and not satisfied with that we are longing for something. H.H.Radhanath Swami clearly explains here that temporary peace has an end and leaves us with an intention to long for more and the spiritual peace connects us to real peace that is to love God which rests in our heart always

Our eternal position is to be compassionate and to serve and God is to enjoy.
But in our conditioned state we want God to be compassionate and serve (us) and we should enjoy.
