Radhanath Swami on Fear

The controlling factor of the entire material existence is fear. Why? Where there is lust, there is fear. Kama, material desire, is like the other side of the coin with fear. We cannot have one side of the coin without the other. We may like the one...

If we leave the kitchen in a mess, then we are actually sending an invitation to the cockroaches to come. In those dirty places, in that environment, they not only thrive but they multiply. So our society, if it’s an environment where moral principles...

For a human being to conceive of the universe is like a tiny insignificant ant to try to fathom the earth planet. Is that possible? How far can an ant travel in its life? Even if an ant goes on pilgrimage from its childhood, and even if it plans to walk...

The Supreme Lord, both when He came as Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu and when He came as Lord Krishna, taught us that the path to perfection is not to the path of denying the world. Both the processes of bhoga and tyaga, enjoyment and renunciation, are...

Radhanath Swami Articles

Radhanath swami

The articles on this site are based on the classes given by Radhanath Swami over the years.

Radhanath Swami is a source of inspiration for several projects, both in India and outside of it. Radhanath Swami is also a great source of inspiration for several thousands of people aspiring to seek spiritual enlightenment in the line of bhakti yoga. His students come from various walks of life, age groups, castes, races, and nationalities.

In 1970, at the age of 19, Radhanath Swami started his journey of spiritual quest in Europe. While at Greece, a voice within him directed him towards India. Radhanath Swami set off for his destination by hitchhiking. After meeting several people and studying various paths of spiritual enlightenment along the way, he finally reached India. Radhanath Swami’s experiences through the journey enabled him to understand truth from all cultural perspectives. The sufferings and exploitations he endured on this path made Radhanath Swami more determined and focused; it increased his faith and humility. Radhanath Swami’s uncompromising determination to find a guru who could provide answers for his questions made him reach the holy land of Vrndavan, India, the holy place of Radha and Krsna. The deep realizations that Radhanath Swami gained in his travels now reflect in his teachings.

Radhanath Swami learned from many but accepted one guru. Radhanath Swami’s surrender and service to his spiritual master is a great source of inspiration to all his followers. Radhanath Swami’s lectures, kirtans, and yatras sustain the spiritual lives of many. Radhanath Swami’s explanation of complex topics of scriptures and the insight that he provides into apparently confusing philosophical topics is amazing.
