In the World, but not of the World

There is a famous saying, “Be in the world but not of the world.” This means the spiritual conception of life. We are above; we are transcendental to all the miseries, which are inevitable in the world.  Such a spiritual person alone can actually create peace on Earth. Because he or she can enliven and illuminate others to get out of the world by being transcendental to the repetition of birth and death. So, as spiritualists, as devotees of God, our prayer is not just for peace on Earth. We would like that to happen and will try our best, but our prayer is that as many people on this Earth get out, rise above the bodily concept, be in the world, but not of the world, be in tune with the soul and with God. This is the purpose of chanting the Holy Names of the Lord: to transcend the temporary conditions, which are the source of all problems in the world. When one tastes the sweet fruit of love of God, one becomes completely satisfied, so nourished, that even in this life, one no longer has to suffer.
