Radhanath Swami Speaks on Real Problems

We can be victorious in our life, conquer others and get great prestige and glory, but if in the process we do not conquer birth, old age, disease and death we are simply defeated. The greatest politicians who win elections, the athletes who conquer all opposition, the warriors in the battlefield who defeat all their enemies are all dead and gone after a few years, and no one really cares about them anymore. Maybe for a couple of hundred years there maybe some statues, but what’s left is all conquered by death. A wise person knows the real problems of birth, old age, disease and death, and human life is meant exclusively for the purpose of conquering death. We should avoid the association of those who are trying to induce us or influence us to be under the illusion that there can be any real solution to our problems by any other means.

  59. Very True..We speak about peace and to establish peace in society, but unless our leader are God Conscious, its difficult to see peach and prosperity anywhere.
    Unless we realize the real problem of life and its solution, how much we try to adjust with all material difficulties , we cannot be happy
