What does death mean? – Radhanath Swami

Death means everything we have given our whole life to will be snatched away in a moment, and we will be left with nothing. Everyone we love is lost forever. Everything we worked so hard for is lost forever. It’s painful. The soul has undergone death millions and millions times in this world, and it’s going to happen again and again. Therefore, with our intelligence we should understand the empty hollowness of material life. We cannot be artificially renounced, but according to our position, according to how we can best serve, we must keep our intelligence strong and fixed in understanding that material world is a miserable place. The only thing good in this material world is devotional service to the supreme Lord.
