The purpose of human society is to create, with all God given gifts in the world, an environment by which everyone would find happiness and satisfaction through inner fulfillment and connection with God, in spirit of true devotion and love.
Whether we live in a beautiful house or a shack, this is not important. What is important is the atmosphere in that place. If in that atmosphere the family is inspired to worship and love God, receive God, then it is perfect. Cook nice, pure vegetarian food and offer it to the Lord, come together to share the glories of the Lord, chant the glories of the Lord, develop love and relationships with one another in God’s name. Everything is potentially spiritual, so utilize it in proper consciousness, and the perfection is to utilize everything for development of love of God. The greatest social service we can offer in society is to inspire this atmosphere of devotion to God within the heart of every person.
