Radhanath Swami – True Function of the Soul

Beyond the senses, the mind, the intelligence and the ego is the soul.  The soul is the real you.  The soul is the person.  The soul is the source of life and when the soul identifies that ‘I am eternal, full of knowledge, full of bliss; I am part of God, I am an instrument of God,’ then it’s fully enlightened. Therefore, the nature of the pure soul is to take the body, the mind, the ego, the intelligence, everything, and use it in compassion and love for the world as an instrument of God’s love. That is the true function of the soul in the world.
