Radhanath Swami on ‘Happiness with a Foundation’

Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita, “I am the ability in man and woman. I am the intelligence of the intelligent. I am the strength of the strong.” If we have a gift and if we think that it’s our own, we are really depriving ourselves of the potential happiness we could have. Whatever gifts we have, we honor it and we are grateful for it because it’s the gift of God. And that gratitude nourishes our love for God. Then we can experience something that is way beyond the temporary dualities of life because that happiness has a foundation; it can’t be shaken.
