Plain living and a high thinking are recommended for everyone. Simplicity means to find balance in our life by which our mind, our body are in the most optimum condition. One should not eat too much or eat too little, sleep too much or sleep too little. If we do anything in extremes, then our whole consciousness becomes very much infected and affected.
Just like a wife of one of the dictators of eastern Asia had over 7000 pairs of shoes. If she rotates them, she will probably wear only one every twenty years. Desires are endless, the more we have, the more we need and we are never satisfied. We need to do everything in right proportion as per our requirements.

True. Simple Living and High Thinking is required especially in today’s age. As they say, there is enough in the world for man’s need but not for man’s greed.
The vedic lifestyle means balance, balancing our lifestyle in such a way that we harmonize the needs of our body, mind and soul.
HH Radhanath Swami has led and inspired thousands of devotees to become examples.
Maharaj nicely explained the importance of “simple living and high thinking”
All glories to HH Radhanath swami Maharaj

These are days of extreme living and no thinking…leaving mother earth in a diasastrous situation…
Heard Radhanatha Swami give an very deep insight into topic to the youths in a recent Prerana starting (Vedic solution to climate change)…
Amazing how each of us contribute directly or indirectly to the mess unless we change…
We need urgently to learn, if human race has to continue on earth…
Thanks for this post on simple living high thinking.
I once heard another discourse by Radhanath Swami where he makes this point with a little humour added to it. “We must understand the importance of simple living high thinking, not simply living and no thinking” 🙂
