Radhanath Swami Speaking About Actual Love

To help people on the spiritual path is real love. It may not be a romantic, euphoric love in the material sense, but it is real love.  Real love begins with duty, not with pleasure. The association of sincerely practicing people maintains our spiritual faith and conviction, and gives us a fulfillment by which we can make spiritual progress and continue despite all the stormy weather in this age of quarrel and hypocrisy. We will continue, because we have a higher purpose.  That higher purpose gives us a real meaning to life. When we share each other’s realizations, when we help each other in the spiritual path, that friendship, that love is actually love.
