103 Stress can be positive

Stress is good if it motivates us for the right purpose. It is according to our perception. For a person who understands properly, pressure is a privilege that one earns after hard work. If we see it in that way, pressure is a positive thing and we will respond positively. But if we see it as a negative thing, we will respond negatively.

A glass that is half filled with water—some people say it is half empty, some people say it is half full. One is encouraging while the other is discouraging. It is a question of perception. Similarly, our happiness is based on our perceptions. When we perceive in the light of knowledge, we can see every situation that comes upon us as a wonderful opportunity to do something wonderful. And more the stress, more the difficulty, more the tension, more the challenge—more is the opportunity to serve.
